Materials & Sustainability
Hue Interiors use a range of European and British hardwoods to create our exceptional interiors. We are partnered with a third-generation, family-run timber merchants in Ripon and all of our raw timber is sourced directly from there. Reinforcing our bond with local Yorkshire craftsmen and helping our wider community.
Our timber surpasses environmental standards, ensuring the material is responsibly sourced and sustainable. Together with its stunning quality, we believe this creates a superior product – one that deserves its place in a considerate, eco-conscious 21st century home.
We also believe in playing our part for the local community. All of our wasted products, from off-cuts to imperfect timber, is processed into wood chips and distributed locally to surrounding Wetherby farms, nourishing the ground and continuing the sustainable process.
We also work closely with local forestry schools, supplying them with whatever they need, from lengths of timber to wood chips.
Environmental-conscientiousness, along with true quality, is at the heart of everything we do.

That’s why at Hue Interiors we have dedicated so much time in sourcing our materials from only the very best sustainable supplier who understands our exacting requirements.

When designing a bespoke kitchen, the cabinetry is often the most exciting style decision, but now more than ever the worktop is being considered as one of the most important materials within the kitchen. Not only does it need to look aesthetically stunning, the worktop has to withstand the stress of everyday use – from spills, heat damage and water marks.
In more recent years advancements in technology have enabled the manufacture of extremely durable materials that are virtually unbreakable, however for those who are able to take a little more care, innovation has also provided incredibly luxurious materials too.
